What defined OSOM Music
OSOM Music was launched in 2006 around the creative partnership of Kindzadza and Psykovsky and became one of the most distinctive labels in the darker, faster and more experimental end of psytrance. Its name is closely linked to the OSOM collaborative project, but the label developed a broader international catalogue beyond the two founders.
How OSOM Music developed
The original operation was described as an international label spanning Moscow and Singapore. Early releases established a sound built around dense psychedelic detail, unconventional structures and increasingly high tempos. Over time the label became closely associated with the Russian experimental-psytrance network while also releasing international artists, and its current digital releases continues to preserve that identity.
People, organisation & management
Lev Greshilov, known as Kindzadza, and Vasily Markelov, known as Psykovsky, are the founders most clearly connected to OSOM Music. The label’s geographic presentation later shifted, with its current Bandcamp operating from Cyprus, but the exact legal history of that move is less important than the continuity of the catalogue.
Sound, roster & A&R direction
Experimental darkpsy and high-speed psychedelic trance define the label. OSOM music often resists straightforward subgenre boundaries, using complex edits, unusual rhythmic changes and extreme sound design instead of relying on standard full-on arrangements.
Place in psytrance history
OSOM Music became a key platform for the more radical Russian branch of psychedelic trance and helped normalise a level of speed and structural experimentation that would later feed into hi-tech and other extreme psytrance forms.
Scene impact & cultural reach
The label’s original Moscow–Singapore framing and later international catalogue illustrate the transnational nature of high-intensity psychedelic music scenes outside the conventional Western European label centres.
Key releases & catalogue moments
The 2006 launch, early Kindzadza and Psykovsky-related releases, the wider OSOM artist network and continued digital activity into the mid-2020s are the main key releases.

Swiss experimental psychedelic-trance project of Lukas Hasler, moving from dark/forest-tagged early material through OSOM high-BPM experimentation into later explicitly Psycore-associated work.
