Release context
Yaminahua is a German psychedelic trance project with roots in the darker underground. The catalogue developed over a long period through EPs and albums, gradually refining a sound built around controlled tension, detailed percussion and a more serious atmosphere than mainstream full-on trance.
Within Yaminahua's catalogue, Equilibrium sits between Derelict (2013) and De Lege Artis (2019). That position makes the album useful for hearing how the project was changing across that period rather than treating it as an isolated entry.
