Our approach
ViralFlowMusic.com is an independent music-reference and discovery website. The site includes editorial text, factual catalogue information, links to external services, credited images and embedded players supplied by third-party music platforms.
We take credible copyright concerns seriously. When we receive a sufficiently detailed complaint, we will review the material identified and may remove it, replace it, disable access to it, correct its attribution, or contact the relevant contributor or source while the issue is assessed.
Before sending a request
Please identify the material precisely. If the concern relates to an image, text passage, page, external link or embedded player, include the exact ViralFlowMusic.com page URL and explain which part of that page is at issue.
Some music, artwork and video visible through an embedded Bandcamp, Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube or SoundCloud player is delivered directly by that third-party service rather than hosted as a file by ViralFlowMusic.com. We can review whether the embed or link should remain on our page, but requests concerning the underlying content hosted by the third-party service may also need to be directed to that provider.
What to include in a copyright removal request
To help us investigate promptly, please provide:
- your full name and, if relevant, the organisation or copyright owner you represent;
- a description of the copyrighted work you believe is affected;
- the exact URL or URLs on ViralFlowMusic.com where the material appears;
- enough detail to identify the specific image, text, media, link or other material complained of;
- an explanation of why you believe the use is unauthorised or infringing;
- your email address or other reasonable contact information;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act for the owner; and
- your physical or electronic signature, for example your typed full name at the end of an email.
DMCA notices
If you intend your request to operate as a notification under section 512(c)(3) of the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act, your notice should substantially contain the information listed above, including identification of the copyrighted work, identification and location of the material complained of, contact information, the required good-faith and authority statements, and a physical or electronic signature.
This page provides a route for submitting copyright complaints; it does not state that ViralFlowMusic.com is relying on a particular statutory safe harbour or that it has appointed a registered U.S. Copyright Office designated agent unless such a designation has separately been made.
Where to send the request
Please use the contact page or send the notice to contact@viralflowmusic.com. Put Copyright takedown request in the subject line where possible.
What happens after a request
We may acknowledge the request, ask for missing information, temporarily restrict the disputed material while reviewing it, or take other reasonable steps appropriate to the circumstances. A request will be assessed on the information available to us; submitting a complaint does not automatically establish that infringement has occurred.
Where appropriate, we may share the substance of a complaint and the claimant's contact details with the person or organisation responsible for the disputed material so that the claim can be understood and answered. We will handle personal information connected with a request in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
If material was removed in error
If you are responsible for material that has been removed or disabled following a copyright complaint and you believe the action resulted from a mistake or misidentification, contact us with the affected page URL, identify the material, explain the basis for your objection, and provide your contact details. We will review the matter and may request additional information before deciding whether the material should be restored.
If a formal statutory counter-notice process applies to a particular request, additional declarations and information may be required. We will identify those requirements where relevant rather than asking users to make unnecessary legal declarations in every case.
Other removal and correction requests
This process can also be used to flag incorrect attribution, an image whose licence or permission has changed, or material that you believe should be reviewed for another intellectual-property reason. For ordinary factual corrections that do not concern copyright, please use the contact page.
Misrepresentations
Please do not knowingly submit false or misleading infringement claims. Copyright disputes can have legal consequences, and anyone unsure of their rights or obligations should consider obtaining independent legal advice.
