Release context
Kindzadza is Lev Greshilov's Russian psychedelic trance project and a major reference point for the darker, faster end of the scene. The catalogue is closely connected with the Moscow underground, OSOM Music and a production style built around dense detail rather than melodic full-on conventions.
Born to Grit follows I’d Like You to Be a Mind Reader (2016) in Kindzadza's recorded catalogue. By 2023, the project already had enough history behind it for this album to be heard as part of an established creative arc rather than a standalone introduction.
