Release context
The Collection Vol.1 is a 2020 retrospective built from more than twenty years of 1200 Micrograms material. TIP Records remastered the selected tracks, so the release is not a new studio album but an attempt to present established favourites with a more consistent modern master.
The selection crosses several eras rather than reproducing any one album. DMT and Mescaline reach back to the self-titled debut, Acid For Nothing comes from Heroes Of The Imagination, Rock To The Future comes from The Time Machine, and later material sits alongside them. That cross-catalogue approach makes the compilation useful as a map of the project rather than simply another chronological reissue.
