Release context
Raw Material is Soundaholix's second album, released by TIP Records in February 2023, fourteen years after Soundaholix Anonymous. TIP describes Riktam of GMS and Celli of Earthling as childhood friends from Ibiza, with the project itself reaching back to a 2000 TIP vinyl that also included Bansi.
The twelve-track album contains eleven new pieces and a Soundaholix remix of Hallucinogen's Astral Pancakes. That combination of new music and a direct link to a classic TIP-era track makes Raw Material feel both current and historical, reconnecting a long-running collaboration with the label that was involved at its very beginning.
