1200 Micrograms brought together Raja Ram, Riktam, Bansi and Chicago in a project built around direct, high-energy psychedelic trance and a deliberately playful identity. The group became closely associated with TIP.World and with a run of concept-driven albums during the 2000s.
The self-titled 1200 Micrograms album introduced the group's concept-driven approach in 2002. Built by Raja Ram, Riktam, Bansi and Chicago, it established the combination of direct full-on energy, psychedelic humour and thematic track sequencing that would define the project through the rest of the decade.
