Release context
*Plastic Fantastic* is Bizzare Contact’s debut album, originally released in 2004. The nine-track record introduced the project in full-length form and became the main reference point for the energetic, melodic full-on style associated with Bizzare Contact during the mid-2000s.
The album has had a longer life than its first edition alone suggests. Mainstage Records later reissued it, which helped keep the record available to a newer audience without changing its original place in the chronology. For understanding Bizzare Contact’s catalogue, this is the starting point rather than a later retrospective.
