Release context
La La Land is the 2005 Visual Contact album released by Com.Pact Records. Visual Contact was one of the projects associated with Bizzare Contact's Didi Ezra and Israeli full-on collaborators, so the album belongs to a network of closely connected projects rather than an isolated artist identity.
That collaborative background helps explain its place in the catalogue. Com.Pact was an important label for melodic and accessible full-on psytrance in this period, and La La Land sits comfortably inside that sound while giving the musicians another project name through which to explore it.
