Key To The Universe arrived in 2008 as one of Sesto Sento's central Com.Pact Records albums. By then the trio had moved well beyond their debut phase: they had several studio albums, a remix collection, compilations and a substantial international touring history behind them.
The nine-track record therefore reads as a mature statement from the original three-member project. It also has a long afterlife inside the catalogue. Mysterious Ways, one of its tracks, was revisited eighteen years later as an Avan7 remix in 2026, showing how material from this period continued to be mined long after Sesto Sento's original run had given way to later projects and solo work.
