Release context

Second Thought followed Wrecked Machines' debut in 2005 and moved the project onto Spun Records, the GMS-linked label that was central to international full-on psytrance at the time. That label change alone says a lot about Gabriel Serrasqueiro's rising profile after Blink.

The ten-track album is more than a sequel: it places a Brazilian producer directly inside one of the scene's most important transnational networks. In catalogue terms, Second Thought represents Wrecked Machines at peak early-career momentum, with touring, collaborations and label connections all expanding beyond the context in which the debut had appeared.
