Release context
Talamasca is Cédric Dassulle's French psychedelic trance project and one of the longest-running names in the European full-on scene. The catalogue is unusually broad, moving from early albums through concept records, historical tributes and later releases designed around the project's decades of touring experience.
Within Talamasca's catalogue, Zodiac sits between Musica Divinorum (2001) and Made In Trance (2004). That position makes the album useful for hearing how the project was changing across that period rather than treating it as an isolated entry.
