Release context
Talamasca is Cédric Dassulle's French psychedelic trance project and one of the longest-running names in the European full-on scene. The catalogue is unusually broad, moving from early albums through concept records, historical tributes and later releases designed around the project's decades of touring experience.
Beyond the Mask is the earliest Talamasca release currently represented in the ViralFlowMusic catalogue, preceding Musica Divinorum (2001). That makes it a useful starting point for hearing the ideas the project would develop more fully on the releases that followed.
