Release context
Travelling at the Speed of Thought is another early The Delta EP from 1997 on Blue Room Released. Coming in the same year as As A Child I Could Walk on The Ceiling, it captures the project during a concentrated formative phase rather than after its sound had settled into a familiar formula.
The two Blue Room EPs are useful together because they document The Delta before the later full-length records. They show the darker, stripped and techno-influenced direction already taking shape while the project was still operating in short-form releases.
