Release context
My Way arrived in 2012 after a long gap from Total Anarchy and broadened Skazi's palette substantially. The sixteen-track album includes multiple guest vocalists and collaborators, among them Freedom Fighters, Meital De Razon, Nathan Goshen, Shiri Maimon and MC Big Fish.
That guest-heavy format makes the album one of the clearest examples of Skazi moving beyond a narrowly defined psytrance record. It keeps the project's high-energy electronic core but places songs, vocals and crossover production much closer to the centre. In the other releases, My Way is therefore less a return to the early records than a document of how far Asher Swissa had pushed the project into a hybrid festival sound.
