Release context
*A Thread of Light* is Rocky’s debut album, released through Chemical Crew in 2007. It established Roy Tilbor as a full-length artist after earlier releases had already placed him within Israel’s progressive psytrance scene.
The album also became an important reference point for what followed. Echoes Records later described it as the record that helped turn Rocky into an in-demand international act, setting up the longer period of touring, collaborations and remix work that fed into his second album.
