Release context
Spaceships Of The Imagination is one of Raja Ram's early TIP.World DJ-mix compilations, released in 2000. TIP's own Raja Ram discography places it before the Stash Bag series, making it part of the period when his role as a selector and label figure was being documented on record as clearly as his work in projects such as The Infinity Project and Shpongle.
The distinction matters because this is not a Raja Ram studio album. The ten-track programme is a curated mix, so its value lies in the way it reflects his taste, scene connections and the TIP.World catalogue at the turn of the millennium rather than presenting ten new Raja Ram productions.
