Release context
Alien Hoax is a 2016 Mad Tribe single on TIP Records and follows the project's debut album Spaced Out. Its place directly after that first full-length shows Mad Tribe continuing as an active production partnership rather than treating the album as a one-off meeting between Space Tribe and Mad Maxx.
The single also begins a particularly busy run for the project. LSD Party followed in the same year, with more EP and album material appearing soon after, so Alien Hoax sits near the start of the period when Mad Tribe developed a sustained identity inside the TIP catalogue.
