Release context
Mad Tribe is the collaboration between Space Tribe's Olli Wisdom and Mad Maxx's Max Peterson. The pair began making music together in 2005 and built the project around high-energy psychedelic trance, humour and a shared taste for exaggerated science-fiction imagery.
Futuristic Flashbacks Episode 3 forms part of Mad Tribe's retrospective 2020–21 phase, when older and previously scattered material was reorganised into album-length releases. That archival work became particularly significant after Olli Wisdom's death in 2021, preserving a wider picture of the Space Tribe/Mad Maxx collaboration.
