The story behind OxiDaksi

OxiDaksi is an Israeli psychedelic-trance project founded by Nir Dak and Eliran Hasan. A 2012 Cryptic Symmetry release credits both producers directly, while secondary artist biographies date the project to 2007 and describe its shift toward a high-technology/high-speed style from about 2008. The project later released the full-length Manifestation in 2019, the Evolution EP the same year and Avira through Shamanic Tales in 2020. Secondary biographies consistently date OxiDaksi to 2007 and identify Nir Dak and Eliran Hasan as founders. 2012 label credits name both musicians as joint producers. The project moved rapidly into high-speed psychedelic material. Cryptic Symmetry’s 2012 Infotech compilation labels the context hi-tech/dark psytrance and credits White Weirdo to Nir Dak and Eliran Hasan.

Manifestation and Evolution in 2019 consolidated the project’s mature high-speed catalogue. Avira in 2020, released by Astrix’s Shamanic Tales, deliberately introduced more atmospheric and neighboring stylistic directions. Current 2026 festival listings confirm continued live activity. A durable Israeli representative of the Hi-Tech generation, useful for showing how high-speed Psytrance could broaden into more melodic and atmospheric territory without becoming identical to Progressive Psytrance or Psycore.

Active in 2026, with current festival announcements including Psy Experience and Indian Spirit. Connects the Israeli Psytrance scene with the international Hi-Tech network and labels in South Africa, Switzerland and Israel.

Origins of OxiDaksi

Secondary biographies consistently date OxiDaksi to 2007 and identify Nir Dak and Eliran Hasan as founders. 2012 label credits name both musicians as joint producers.

The early years

The project moved rapidly into high-speed psychedelic material. Cryptic Symmetry’s 2012 Infotech compilation labels the context hi-tech/dark psytrance and credits White Weirdo to Nir Dak and Eliran Hasan.

How the career developed

Manifestation and Evolution in 2019 consolidated the project’s mature high-speed catalogue. Avira in 2020, released by Astrix’s Shamanic Tales, deliberately introduced more atmospheric and neighboring stylistic directions. Current 2026 festival listings confirm continued live activity.

OxiDaksi sound

Hi-Tech Psytrance is the strongest classification, reinforced by both early releases and later festival positioning. Psytrance remains the parent genre, with historical Darkpsy overlap. Avira marked a new direction with neighboring stylistic excursions, but its progressive-trance tagging does not make Progressive Psytrance a project-wide classification.

German psychedelic-trance producer associated with the early development of ultra-fast night music and the hi-tech scene, both solo and through Highcosmos with Cosmo.

Kashyyyk

Pablo Valdes’s high-speed psychedelic-trance project, rooted in Mexico City and strongly associated with the early development and popularisation of Hi-Tech Psytrance.

Kindzadza

Moscow producer Lev Greshilov, one of the central architects of the Russian darkpsy and hi-tech continuum and a founder of the OSOM Music network.

Crazy Astronaut

Nikolay Golutvin’s melodic, rave-driven high-speed psychedelic-trance identity, distinct from his more experimental Furious project and strongly associated with OSOM Music.
