The story behind Liquid Ace

Liquid Ace is the collaborative project of Ace Ventura (Yoni Oshrat) and Liquid Soul (Nicola Capobianco). The partnership began in 2006 with their first joint production, Let Go, and continued through subsequent tracks, remixes, DJ appearances and the wider Psy-Nation platform shared by the two artists. Liquid Ace remains a separate joint identity, not a release-credit shorthand, and the name continues to appear in the pair’s current project and performance activity. The pair’s first Liquid Ace collaboration, Let Go, dates to 2006 and was followed by additional joint material in the late 2000s.

Liquid Ace continued intermittently through releases, remixes, joint DJ activity and the Ace Ventura/Liquid Soul Psy-Nation collaboration network. Liquid Ace is one of the durable collaborations linking two major figures of the modern Progressive Psytrance scene and formalises a partnership extending beyond one-off track credits.

Still used as a current/intermittent collaboration identity in the mid-2020s, including joint mixes and appearances.
