Biography

Benji Vaughan is the own-name artist identity of the British producer behind Prometheus and one half of Younger Brother. His solo-name catalogue began with Even Tundra in 2013 and later expanded with Eidolon in 2023 and Oneiric in 2024, giving Vaughan a distinct outlet for music that is not confined to the Prometheus Psytrance framework. Benji Vaughan is a separate artist identity from Prometheus, while his work with Younger Brother remains another distinct project. The own-name catalogue should remain separate from Prometheus chronology.

Eidolon (2023) and Oneiric (2024) demonstrate active own-name output separate from Prometheus. The Benji Vaughan identity shows how a producer rooted in the Goa/Psytrance scene moved into a wider psychedelic-electronic vocabulary without collapsing that work into Prometheus or Younger Brother.

Active as an own-name recording identity, with new releases in 2023 and 2024 alongside Vaughan’s other projects.
