How the career developed

Aardvarkk sound

Psytrance with groovy psychedelic and night-time orientation. Bom Shanka uses phrases such as “crunchy nighttime vibes,” but that descriptive language does not by itself establish a Night Full-On classification.

Place in psytrance history

Aardvarkk represents the modern underground Psytrance strand around Bom Shanka Music, connecting the label’s Bristol-linked scene with the wider international festival circuit while retaining a deliberately psychedelic, nighttime-focused identity.
