Biography
A-Tech is the solo Psytrance project of Portuguese producer Tiago Guerra from Porto. Guerra first encountered electronic music in 2001, soon moved into DJing across house, techno and trance, and around a decade later began producing Psytrance. A-Tech emerged publicly in the mid-2010s. The project became closely associated with Dacru Records, whose catalogue classifies A-Tech as Fullon and includes solo and collaborative releases. The Night Of The Wolf was released on 23 November 2020 as a night-oriented Full-On track.
A-Tech also appears repeatedly on Dacru compilations and collaborative EPs, including work with Transient Disorder, Overdrive and E-Mov. Dacru released A-Tech & Transient Disorder's Secret Valley on 31 January 2025 as the first preview of an upcoming A-Tech album. No released album title had appeared by 19 August 2026, so the album remains announced but unreleased.
Active in 2026. A full album was announced in January 2025; its release status remains unclear.
Origins of A-Tech
Tiago Guerra’s solo Psytrance project developed after years of DJing electronic music, with the A-Tech identity established publicly by the mid-2010s.
Early career
Guerra encountered electronic music in 2001, then DJed house, techno and trance before moving into Psytrance production roughly a decade later.
How the career developed
A-Tech became tied to Dacru Records through EPs, Uncharted appearances and collaborations. The Night Of The Wolf is a clear 2020 solo anchor; a 2025 collaboration teased a future full album.
A-Tech sound
Psytrance / Full-On. Dacru and current booking material explicitly classify A-Tech in Fullon; The Night Of The Wolf provides a specific night-oriented Full-On example without requiring the entire catalogue to be tagged Night Full-On.
Place in psytrance history
A-Tech represents the Portuguese/European Full-On network around Dacru and illustrates how label compilations, joint EPs and solo artist identities need separate release modelling.
