Release context
Crazy Wisdom is Tristan's 2022 solo album for Nano Records and belongs to a much later chapter of his catalogue than Way of Life. By this point his career already stretched back through decades of UK psytrance, so the album reads less like a reinvention than a statement from a producer whose sound had been tested across festivals, collaborations and several side projects.
Its release also sits alongside Tristan's continuing work with Nano's wider artist circle. That context helps explain why the album feels connected to a living scene rather than isolated from it: Tristan's solo music, Killerwatts with Avalon, and later 8ternal Beings with Regan all overlap through the same network of artists and dancefloors.
