Release context
*Flabbergaster* was released in 2025 during Tristan's long-running Nano Records period. It belongs to a catalogue that moves freely between solo tracks, collaborations and retrospective collections rather than being organised around frequent studio albums.
Tristan's recent Nano Records catalogue reflects the way he has worked for much of his career: a strong solo identity surrounded by a dense network of collaborations. The singles from 2019 onward sit alongside festival-focused tracks, joint productions and the retrospective *Tristan Collection*, rather than following a neat album-to-album cycle. The track therefore makes most sense as part of an evolving live and singles repertoire, where new material could enter sets quickly without waiting for a larger album cycle.
