Release context
Spiritual Rebel is a 2020 Tengri EP released by Parvati Records. It follows Random Alchemy and belongs to the same period in which Leo Golcev was refining a personal psychedelic style within a label strongly associated with forest and deep psychedelic trance.
The release is best understood as part of that ongoing relationship rather than as a stylistic detour. By this point Tengri had already built a recognisable place in the Parvati catalogue, and Spiritual Rebel extends that thread before the later State Of Clear EP and the collaboration-focused Testimony 20 album.
