Release context
Old Soul is a 2017 Tengri album on Parvati Records and one of the releases that established Leo Golcev inside the label's psychedelic catalogue. Parvati's artist history places Tengri across both psytrance and downtempo releases, so the project has always had a broader range than a single dancefloor formula suggests.
That flexibility is important when reading Old Soul. It sits early in a longer Parvati relationship that later included Random Alchemy, Spiritual Rebel, State Of Clear and Testimony 20, making the album part of an evolving body of work rather than a one-off appearance on the label.
