Release context
Farebi Jalebi is Adip Tupsy Sonar's psychedelic trance project, closely linked with Parvati Records and the Indian underground. The catalogue developed slowly through tracks and EPs before expanding into full album work, with a strong emphasis on intricate, organic sound design.
The 2018 Farebi Jalebi EP is built from older tracks that Adip Tupsy Sonar chose to finish and release rather than leave in storage while working toward his debut album. That background gives the EP an archival edge even though it appeared before the full-length Rhathymia.
