Release context
Time is Quantize's debut album, released by Iboga Records in 2008. Coming alongside the project's introductory EP from the same year, the record establishes Quantize as a full album-scale act rather than simply another name appearing on progressive-trance compilations.
The Iboga connection is central to the album's context. The label was one of the leading homes for the deeper, cleaner progressive sound of this period, and Time belongs directly to that era of its catalogue, where groove and gradual development often mattered more than the peak-heavy structure of full-on psytrance.
