Release context
Quantize EP is a two-track Iboga Records release from 2008 and comes from the same year as the project's debut album Time. That close timing makes the EP part of Quantize's launch period rather than a later add-on to an established catalogue.
The compact format let the project introduce its progressive-psytrance direction in a direct way before the album expanded the idea. Within the Iboga catalogue, the EP sits neatly inside the label's late-2000s shift toward polished, groove-led progressive trance.
