Release context
Ouroboros - Present is the second chapter in Captain Hook's Past/Present/Future remix concept and follows the retrospective focus of Ouroboros - Past. Released by Iboga Records in September 2024, it keeps the series centred on reinterpretation rather than a standard album cycle.
The title is important to the structure of the project: this is not just another collection of remixes, but the middle stage of an idea built around how Captain Hook's music changes when viewed from different points in time. It places the current phase of his catalogue beside the earlier material revisited on Past, while leaving the announced Future idea as the open end of the concept.
