Release context
Frequent Flyers is a 2026 Protoculture single released through Marula Music, the label Nate Raubenheimer runs himself. By this stage the project had travelled a long way from its early Nano Records psytrance albums, with progressive trance and progressive house becoming central parts of the Protoculture sound.
That makes the single useful as a late-career reference point. Rather than presenting Protoculture as a legacy psytrance act, it shows Raubenheimer continuing to release contemporary club music under the same name while controlling the label context around it. The continuity is in the melodic, high-energy production approach; the surrounding genre language and industry setting have evolved considerably since the early 2000s.
