Release context
The Electric Universe remix of *Mushroom Song* revisits Killerwatts' collaboration with Faders. Boris Blenn's involvement gives the track a direct link to one of the longest-running names in psychedelic trance, extending the life of the original beyond the 2023 *Beautiful Chaos* period.
Killerwatts is the joint project of Tristan Cooke and Leon Kane (Avalon), formed in 2010. Their catalogue is built around full albums but also a large number of collaborations and remix projects, so later reinterpretations are part of the project's normal life cycle rather than afterthoughts.
