Release context
*Confused Miracles* was released by Iboga Records in May 2019 as another full-length in Gaudium’s long-running progressive catalogue. Four years after *Stories Of A Viking*, the nine-track album shows Andreas Wennersköld continuing the project without needing to radically alter its core identity.
Its significance is partly one of longevity. Gaudium had been releasing albums since 2005, and *Confused Miracles* demonstrates how the project remained relevant through several generations of progressive psytrance while retaining a recognisable musical character.
