Release context
Etnica is one of the foundational names of the Italian Goa trance movement, with roots stretching back to the early 1990s. By the 2010s the project was also using archival, dub and remix formats to revisit a catalogue that had already passed through several distinct psychedelic eras.
ETNICA & FRIENDS PART I is built around reinterpretation: Tristan remixes Astral Way, Earthling revisits Vimana and Rigel takes on Liquid Forms. The EP turns three established Etnica pieces into a compact snapshot of the project's connections with a younger generation of psychedelic producers.
