Release context
Zlow EP belongs to DuoTekk’s first year of releases on TIP Records. The project moved quickly in 2011, with this EP and the Dunamis album appearing close together and establishing a dedicated catalogue rather than a string of unrelated collaborations.
That early concentration of material is important when reading the project’s history. Zlow EP works as part of the build-up around Dunamis, giving DuoTekk a short-form release alongside the debut album and helping define the project’s relationship with TIP from the outset.
