Release context
*Red Means Distortion* was released by HOMmega Productions in 2010 after a much longer gap from Astrix’s early albums. By then the full-on scene had changed considerably, and Astrix had spent years touring, collaborating and refining a sound that no longer needed to rely on the momentum of the debut period.
The album belongs to a more mature stage of the project and acts as a bridge between the early HOMmega years and the deeper, more progressive direction that would become especially clear on *He.art*.
