Biography

Reality Grid began in the mid-2000s as the UK Psytrance duo of Alex Diplock (EVP) and Leon Kane. Their first album, Reality Check, appeared on Wildthings Records in 2007. After that album Kane left the project and developed Avalon, while Diplock continued Reality Grid alone.

The solo phase produced Another Reality in 2009 and Cow House in 2013, establishing Reality Grid as a distinct Diplock project instead of simply an Avalon precursor. Reality Grid links two important strands of mid-2000s UK Psytrance: Leon Kane’s pre-Avalon period and Alex Diplock’s continuing EVP/Reality Grid production work.

Cow House (2013) is the project’s latest dedicated album; later activity is unclear. Closely connected to Wildthings Records, EVP and Avalon while remaining a separate project identity.
