Biography
Encephalopaticys is the Psytrance project of North Macedonian producer Vasko Velickovski. His work became closely associated with the darker, organic psychedelic sound of the late 2000s. The 2009 Parvati split album Ukalen paired Encephalopaticys with Atriohm, combining four tracks from each project with a joint title track; earlier material also appeared through Sanaton Records. Developed in North Macedonia during the 2000s within the same regional psychedelic scene as Atriohm. Tracks appeared on underground psychedelic compilations before the project’s major collaboration with Atriohm.
Ukalen in 2009 became the clearest full-length statement of Encephalopaticys, presenting both solo tracks and a collaboration with Atriohm. Encephalopaticys is part of the late-2000s North Macedonian dark and forest Psytrance lineage closely linked with Atriohm and Parvati Records.
Historical artist identity centred on its 2000s catalogue. Most directly connected to Atriohm through the Ukalen split album and collaborative title track.
