Release context
Yahel’s *Waves of Sound* was released by HOMmega Productions in 2000. HOMmega identifies it as his second studio album and his first official release for the label, following the earlier *For The People* period.
The album became one of the defining records of Yahel’s early career. Its title track was made with Erez Eisen of Infected Mushroom, while “For the People” also carries the I.Zen connection. That mixture of melodic Goa, progressive trance and highly memorable lead writing helped establish the style Yahel would become associated with well beyond the psytrance scene.
