Magic Frequencies EP is an early Witchcraft release by Rami Shapira and Itzik Levy, better known through Chakra and Sandman. Matsuri Productions issued the two-track EP in 1996, during the formative period when Israeli Goa trance was becoming increasingly visible internationally.
The project matters because it connects two artists whose later individual identities became much better known. Magic Frequencies and Whale capture them working together before those separate catalogues fully developed, making the EP a useful document of the collaborative culture behind the first wave of Israeli Goa trance.
