Release context
Prana was Tsuyoshi Suzuki and Nick Taylor's Goa-trance project and became strongly associated with Matsuri Productions. The catalogue reflects the international character of the mid-1990s scene, linking Japanese label culture with producers and musicians from the UK and wider psychedelic circuit.
Cyclone is the earliest Prana release currently represented in the ViralFlowMusic catalogue, preceding Geomantik (1997). That makes it a useful starting point for hearing the ideas the project would develop more fully on the releases that followed.
