Release context
Goa Trance Forever Vol.1 places Tsuyoshi Suzuki in his long-established role as curator rather than simply producer. Released through Matsuri Digital in 2013, the compilation draws directly on the lineage Suzuki helped shape through Goa, Prana and the original Matsuri Productions era.
The title is deliberately historical, but the project is not just nostalgia. Suzuki's selection connects classic Goa-trance values to a later digital-label context, showing how he continued to frame the genre for new listeners decades after first becoming involved in the scene.
