Release context
Space Cat is Avi Algranati's long-running Israeli psychedelic trance project. The catalogue traces the shift from late-1990s Goa-influenced production toward the cleaner full-on sound of the 2000s, making it a useful timeline of changes within Israeli psytrance itself.
The Remixes follows Mechanical Dream (2004) in Space Cat's recorded catalogue. By 2010, the project already had enough history behind it for this remix album to be heard as part of an established creative arc rather than a standalone introduction.
