Release context
G.ai.a is a 2018 Shadow Chronicles single released by Future Music Records. It follows the project's first wave of material and helps define the sound that would later be gathered more fully on the Arcadia album.
The single is especially useful in sequence because G.ai.a later appears on Arcadia itself. That makes the release part of the album's gradual build rather than a disconnected standalone track, showing how Shadow Chronicles developed through singles before the full-length record brought the material into one coherent project.
