Release context
Hardcore Blastoff is PsySex's second HOMmega album, released in 2001 after Expressions of Rage. By this point the project had moved beyond its introductory phase, and the record belongs to the period when the duo were firmly established inside the international full-on psytrance circuit.
Its position between the debut and Come In Peace makes it part of a tight run of early albums rather than an isolated follow-up. That sequence is important when reading the later careers of Goblin and Yoni Oshrat: the PsySex partnership was already mature years before Oshrat launched Ace Ventura as a separate progressive project.
