Release context
PsySex emerged from Israel's late-1990s psychedelic scene and developed one of the era's most recognisable catalogues. Udi Sternberg later carried the name forward, using new albums, archive projects and reworks to connect the original PsySex period with a darker and more contemporary studio approach.
Survival Kit revisits PsySex material from an earlier phase of the project, using a later production frame rather than presenting the original recording unchanged. That makes the release part of the catalogue's ongoing conversation between the classic PsySex period and Udi Sternberg's renewed work under the name.
