Release context
Technopera is part of Electrypnose’s extensive self-directed catalogue and shows Vince LeBarde working outside the idea that one project must stay inside a single psytrance formula. Released in 2010, it belongs to a period when Electrypnose was already known for moving freely between darker psychedelic material, experimental electronics and more melodic or progressive ideas.
That flexibility is central to the release’s context. Electrypnose has always treated stylistic boundaries as temporary rather than fixed, and Technopera sits in the middle of a catalogue where each album can approach rhythm, arrangement and atmosphere from a noticeably different angle.
