Release context
*Artifact* was released by Iboga Records in October 2019, giving Egorythmia a second album only two years after *Nocturnal*. The move from IONO to Iboga placed the project in a different progressive-psytrance label context while keeping Boban Lazovski’s darker production identity intact.
The record therefore feels more like expansion than reinvention. After waiting many years to make the debut album, Egorythmia quickly followed it with another nine-track set, showing that the full-length format had become a more active part of the project rather than a one-off milestone.
